Today, chuckdimond.com begins anew. Cyber-bully hackers, enemies of the basic democratic tenet of a rich market place of ideas, forced some serious redesign of the original location. Whether with modern technology or antiquity, ignorance hurts us all.
I’ll repost some of the original texts (dates may seem a bit strange). Time and events, of course, impact original thinking. For me, it is an interesting place from which to discern.
This work flows from a personal need: experiences in my life drive me to think, reflect and write. If I am an audience of one so be it. Counting hits is not a purpose or compulsion but, if the content so moves you, you are called to participate.
There are four general topic areas: Public Service, Media, The Human Spirit, and Family and Life. My personal background includes work in two of those areas: media, and public service/politics. Spirit and Family are common to us all.
I deeply believe no one of us holds the truth. We each have our share. Truth and wisdom emerge from our collective property. Some truths, such as the one expressed in the first paragraph above, seem self-evident. So occasionally, and without intent, I may sound as though I do hold the truth. Whatever tone they carry, posts will appear when I have something to say.
This endeavor would not have found its birth save for the encouragement, teaching and design work of my son Sean Dimond. Thank you my son.
